Hey folks!

I have two new interviews with yours truly to share. Check out an oldie but a goodie, along with one of my articles, at our Ms. Jodi Lee's place:

Much thanks to Jodi for posting this!

As you'll note, at the beginning of the interview, I will be leaving Belfire Press at the end of the project year. This decision came after much hard, long thought, and I do wish Jodi and all the Belfire authors and Needfire poets much success. Partly, this decision comes so I may have more writing time. I've recently branched out into copy and some web content (thanks to my dear pal,
Rich Ristow), and I'll be going back to erotica and erotic romance writing, this time via a pen name or two (thanks to my dear pal Giovanna's urging). I'll still be editing, and I'm open to new clients, but I won't be able to edit for any royalty based payments. Flat fee and per word count payments are all I will be able to accept.

And while I won't be with Belfire / Needfire as staff, I will always be a loyal fan.

The Funky Werepig's Monthly Harroink

And I'll be joining my pals Greg Hall and R. Scott McCoy Friday, March 4, for the monthly harroink! Come listen to us chatter about our projects, and have a fun time. Details below in bold, for a helpful reminder.

At twelve, Gary Sanderson found himself in Radcliffe – the oppressive juvenile detention facility for boys. At sixteen, he has a chance for a new, normal life in a new, normal town with foster parents Don and Gail Morgan. He attempts to build this new life, even as his past catches up to him and the problems of a small town erupt all around him. These problems spin out of control when the girl he loves asks him one question: Will he kill her father?
Off Track is the character study of a boy, shaped by abuse and burdened with the death of his father, trying to survive in a world he hadn’t expected to find.

What they’re saying about Off Track:

“Hultquist has fashioned the novel superbly from start to finish, his prose straightforward but also uniquely creative and beautiful. With impeccable timing and use of atmospheric shift, he foreshadows just enough to keep the reader on track a timid half-step ahead of Gary. Inevitably the moment of denouement barrels down on us and thunders by, leaving Gary stripped of defenses and knowing finally who and what he is and – more importantly – what he is not, and leaving the reader breathlessly thankful.”
L. Slyvestre
